Josh started his music career at the age of 5 performing with the Powder River Band on stage shows across the midwest. The first instrument he played on stage was a tambourine soon to be followed by an accordian. By the time he started performing with the Powder River Band full time at the age of 14, he had already had the opportunity to perform on the same stage with Country Music greats like Billy Walker, Del Reeves and Jack Green, just to name a few.

His favorite instrument is Steel Guitar. He was inspired by listening to Tom Brumley and Norm Hamlet (the steel guitarists for Buck Owens and Merle Haggard) playing on all the great recordings of the 60's and 70's. Besides playing Steel Guitar, Josh plays several other instruments including Piano, Saxophone, Accordian, Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Mandolin.

Josh is currently completing a Masters Degree in Business Management at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.
